WOMEN’S MINISTRY

At SIBI we feel the responsibility to prepare and equip our women just as thoroughly as we do our men. Women and men alike are given the command to “go into all the world.” How can we effectively minister to our neighbors, our congregations, and the world if women don’t do their part?

Whether married or single, women are vital to the continued growth of the kingdom just as they were during the time of Christ. Many women serving the Lord today have innovative and effective ministries around the world. It is our prayer and goal to train godly women to be better equipped for a life in ministry.

The Women’s Ministry classes equip women to be students and teachers of the Word, but they also equip women with skills they will need as they minister to others. The curriculum addresses topics such as showing hospitality, being a strong public speaker, staying emotionally healthy, dealing with difficult people, handling benevolence, developing a thriving children’s ministry, and building a strong family.

Our female graduates (both married and single) have gone on to a wide variety of ministries such as completing stateside and foreign internships, working in numerous mission fields, becoming children’s ministers, and serving as coordinators of international women’s groups.

There is a place at SIBI for you, whether you aspire to be a foreign missionary or you simply want to deepen your Bible knowledge so that you can become more like Christ and be more effective in sharing the Gospel with others.
